Laura McPhee-Browne is a writer and social worker from Melbourne.
She is currently working on what she hopes will be her first book, 'Cooee', a collection of 'echo' stories inspired by the short fiction of her favourite female writers, as well as a longer work about two Australian girls in Toronto.
Laura's short fiction has appeared in publications such as Meanjin, Overland, Seizure, The Suburban Review, LiNQ, Tincture Journal, Scum Mag, and Verity La. She was highly commended in both the Rachel Funari Prize for Fiction 2016, and the Hope Prize 2016.
